Scientific Working Group of the National Cybersecurity Council

The National Cybersecurity Council serves as a strategic advisor to the federal government and brings together high-level representatives from the federal government, the states, and the private sector. It thus provides an appropriate forum for comprehensively advancing the strategic issues that are essential for Germany in the field of cyber security.  Since its founding on October 2018, we provide expertise to the permanent Scientific Working Group—under the joint leadership of the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) and the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR)—has been supporting the National Cybersecurity Council. It provides advice from a research perspective on developments and challenges related to secure, trustworthy, and sustainable digitalization.
